On track testing of Australia’s first fully AS7502 compliant Hydrema 912FS-Rail Hi-rail articulated dump truck.
Thanks to the dynamic Hydrema factory’s tiresome work, ADT WA can now offer the 912FS-Rail Hi-rail articulated dump truck as AS7502 complaint in both Hi-rail and rail guidance, largely due to having service and park/emergency failsafe brakes on each rail wheel. However, there are a raft of changes to the machine that enable it to be fully compliant some of which; software control system for activation/deactivation, directional lighting, derailment catching devises, new design insulated rail wheels.
